After graduating, I spent several months living in an ashram in Rishikesh, India, where I had the opportunity to teach yoga, movement, breathwork, and English to fellow members. Immersed in the daily rhythms of the ashram, I led classes and workshops that emphasized mindful movement, body awareness, and personal growth. Each session became a space for connection, as I shared tools for physical and mental well-being while encouraging exploration and curiosity in those around me.
Living in the ashram offered a unique environment for learning and reflection, where teaching became a two-way exchange. While guiding others through yoga and language practice, I also deepened my own understanding of mindfulness, movement, and cross-cultural connection. The experience allowed me to engage meaningfully with a diverse community, cultivating relationships and creating moments of shared growth, presence, and inspiration.
